There were already some people who were anticipating the entry of the TCU Horned Frogs in the Bowl Championship Series. It was actually the possibility of having five teams whose performances earned them slots in the top 25 to be in the BCS. It would have lent more credence and respect to the mid-majors.
Unfortunately this will not be true anymore since Texas Christian University and Boise State University will be part of the Poinsettia Bowl. Ohio State will meet with Texas in the Fiesta Bowl while Texas will battle with Ole Miss at the Cotton Bowl.
In the capital city of Idaho, a US state, is situated Boise State University. In 1932, Episcopal Church founded Boise state university as a junior college. In 1965-69 are the years, when the university gained acceleration and started with bachelor degree courses and higher education. In 1974, it gained university status and was named what it is called today.
