I have a bunch of cousins that live up there, and they were wild and crazy when I knew them as kids, it looks like they haven’t calmed down yet.
Drugs are so prevalent these days and the jobless rate is up – Druggies robbing people to keep themselves doped up. I don’t think you can categorize the victims as easily as you can the criminals though – it’s not a certain kind of person being robbed, its anybody. I have friends that live there.
I will answer. Though, with malice since you prefer to report people.
The economy is hitting different areas harder than some of the others. more and more people are faced with the thought that they are not going to be able to feed their families and the crime rate shoots up. They go in and steal what is valuable to help pay for food and the bills that are piling up. A simple factor is the job ratio in any given area.
It isn’t just burglary that is really high, all crime there is really high and has been for quite some time. The unemployment rate as well as the pay rate of the jobs that are available are a good indicator for crime laden areas.
Murder there has made a big jump and it’s a place i’d steer clear. Idaho isn’t known for their strong economis… and it shows in their crime. It’s all increasing, 3% within the last half of a year.
