I am driving to Lubbock through Boise and Salt Lake and probably Albuqurque. Want to drive 8 hours a day and relax in a hotel at night or sightsee along the way. Is there anything to see along that route? I’m going to be on I-84 for 555 miles and I-40 for 255.

In Salt Lake City, you may be able to visit the Mormon Tabernacle. Say what you may about the religion, it’s quite an impressive building.

Off of I-40 near Amarillo, you can stop and look at the Cadillac Ranch. Some silly ****** took a bunch of old Cadillac cars and buried their front ends in the dirt so their rears point toward the sky. I don’t know why.

These are the only things that I can think of right now.
